Flaps,Flappers and Flappies.

In the 1920's a new type of women emerged, one who smoked, drank, danced, voted, cut her hair, wore make-up and did whatever she pleased. These women were called Flappers. These women were very rebellious, and they had a lot of attitude! A flapper's image consisted of drastic make-up and outfits, fancy dresses were no more! Considering, the 1920's were big on jazz, Flapper's were often found doing a variety of dances such as the Charleston and the Shimmy something women were never able to do. These rebellious women did not care what anyone thought about them, they did whatever their heart desired, after living so long being contained Flapper's were ready to flourish into the women they have always wanted to be.
